How to watch The Curse of Oak Island season 13 in the UK
Could a legendary treasure hoard be about to surface at long last? A new season of Sky HISTORY’s The Curse of Oak Island is now heading to UK screens.

Legend has it that valuable, centuries-old treasure is buried deep on Oak Island, itself located on the south shore of Canada’s Nova Scotia province. As for who exactly hid the hoard there, theories range from 17th-century Scottish privateer Captain Kidd to ancient religious order the Knights Templar.
Michigan brothers Rick and Marty Lagina are determined to solve the mystery once and for all. With help from their loyal crew of archaeologists and other history experts, they are closer than ever to making that breakthrough.

What’s coming this season?
Many much-loved familiar faces are back again, including Marty’s exuberant son Alex Lagina, pun-loving metal detectorist Gary Drayton and insightful metallurgist Emma Culligan.
However, new challenges await. Traditionally, the fabled treasure on Oak Island is thought to lie in the ‘Money Pit’ area. Unfortunately, though, the earth beneath the shaft thought to have originally given rise to the legend has since collapsed.
Consequently, the treasure is now suspected to have fallen to more than 200 feet deep. What this all means is that the Laginas and their team will need to dig further down than ever before. The good news is that they are more than up to the task!
This season also sees a stunning discovery possibly lending weight to the theory that the Knights Templar indeed visited Oak Island many centuries ago.

The new season of The Curse of Oak Island is coming on Wednesday, 7 January at 9pm on Sky HISTORY and HISTORY Play.
