Modern-day mystic Athos Salomé has become a social media sensation thanks to his scarily accurate predictions and prophecies. The Brazilian-born spiritual consultant, medium and numerologist has been dubbed the 'Living Nostradamus' by the press, a nod to the famous astrologer and apothecary Michel de Nostredame.

Keep reading as the Sky HISTORY team breaks down everything you need to know about Athos Salomé, including the predictions he got right and what he anticipates for the coming year.

Who is Athos Salomé

Athos Salomé was born in Brazil in 1986. He claimed he experienced visions and premonitions as a child, something that often worried his religious parents. Despite their reservations, he studied numerology, parapsychology and energy healing with Brazilian practitioners and worked in spiritual consulting – offering private readings and guidance in his small town of São Sebastião do Paraíso.

He quickly gained local notoriety for his scarily accurate predictions, but his breakthrough came in the early 2020s, when he began sharing his talents on TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. Fans couldn’t get enough of his cryptic warnings and symbolic prophecies that covered everything from deaths in the Royal Family to rising tensions in Eastern Europe.

Predictions he’s got right

COVID-19 pandemic

Salomé is perhaps best known for predicting the global COVID-19 pandemic. Just before the outbreak, he prophesied 'global disruption with biological threats' and made symbolic references to a 'shadow that halts humanity'. Fans interpreted this as the airborne virus that ground the world to a halt in 2020.

Escalating tensions in Eastern Europe

Salomé also cemented his reputation as the 'Living Nostradamus' with his predictions about escalating tensions in Eastern Europe. On his social media accounts, he referenced political unrest 'east of the old continent' that fans linked to the conflict in Russia and Ukraine.

The death of Queen Elizabeth II

Perhaps one of his more controversial omens, Salomé foreshadowed the death of Queen Elizabeth II in September 2022 by lamenting 'the departure of a great matriarch' and 'a shift in royal destiny'.

While fans believed this was evidence of his clairvoyant abilities, critics argued that predicting the death of a 96-year-old monarch wasn’t particularly impressive.

Rise of artificial intelligence

Earlier this year, Salomé issued a terrifying warning about our relationship with technology, describing a 'vital turning point' for humanity 'because of new technical achievements'. While he acknowledged the benefits of this radical innovation, he also warned of unprecedented challenges as humans try to navigate this unfamiliar digital world.

He was especially concerned about this new technology’s effect on human creativity and wellbeing. He’s repeatedly highlighted the dangers of AI within the entertainment industry, warning that 'the use of deep fakes for political propaganda poses a risk of triggering a new historical extreme of misinformation'. He’s also expressed fears about the severe mental health consequences of virtual reality.

Natural disasters

While Salomé claims he doesn’t want to 'instil fear in society', he made a string of worrying predictions in 2024 about global natural disasters.

The details were, as critics would argue, deliberately vague, referencing increased volcanic and seismic activity in the Ring of Fire surrounding the Pacific Ocean. He also predicted a rise in hurricanes in Southeast Asia.

What’s coming in 2026?

Solar storms

In an interview with UNILAD, Salomé spoke about his most worrying prediction: Solar storms. He claims that in March 2026, space weather will become more unpredictable, causing mass global panic. He explains:

'My direct and objective perspective is as follows: Solar storms now seem like the most plausible scenario to have such immediate impact on daily life, and backed by robust science. This deserves full focus. Not out of fear, but rather due to measurable signals in synchrony with potential power cuts, communication failures and technological disruptions in affected regions.'

Major events for the British Royal family

Salomé anticipates a major event for the British Royal family in 2026, centring around Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. He told media outlets that he believes the couple is planning a 'clear professional separation' or 'creative divorce'.

What about reconciliation? The glamourous prophet doesn't think so – yet. While it’s off the table for William and Harry, he believes Archie and Lilibet will begin to 'exert significant influence' around 2030 or 2031. Speaking to MailOnline, Salomé prophesied that the Royal children on both sides will ultimately bridge the divide.

Medical breakthroughs

Salomé believes 2026 and beyond will begin a period of extreme medical breakthroughs, including discoveries that will slow ageing and improve cellular longevity. He’s even gone as far as saying that we’ll see the rise of genetically modified humans, which are smarter, stronger and more resistant to disease.
