Cursed Treasures - Season 1, Episode 1

Since the dawn of civilisation, mankind has created treasures that celebrate and rever their leaders. Cursed Treasures is a thrilling new series that travels the world in search of some of the most famous treasures in history. From the Terracotta Army to the Amber Room, all these objects have both mesmerised and terrorised those who have pursued them.

Episode one journeys from Ancient Egypt, when the Pharaohs ruled, through to Anglo-Saxon England to uncover the most famous curses in history. This includes the curse of the Staffordshire Hoard, a huge collection of seventh-century gold and silver found in a field in 2015.

River Hunters - Season 2, Episode 1

The River Hunters are back and better than ever as they search the waterways of some of the UK's most important archaeological sites. From the River Ouse and Derwent in Viking York to the bloody battles of the Jacobite Rebellion in Scotland, Rick Edwards, Beau Ouimette and Gary Bankhead seek to unearth treasures from the rivers which have borne witness to the most turbulent periods in British history.

In the first episode of season two, the team takes on the River Garry, situated in the beautiful Scottish Highlands, where they search for evidence of Scotland's bloodiest eras. In one of their most successful river hunts ever, they come across a rare find which is considered to be nationally important and worthy of a major museum.

The Curse of Oak Island - Season 10, Episode 1

The Curse of Oak Island is one of the most popular shows on HISTORY Play. Rick and Marty Lagina attempt to uncover the mysteries of Oak Island, a small land mass in Nova Scotia. Local experts help them explore the history, mythology and geography of the island to find out what is hiding beneath the surface.

After a decade of searching the Lagina brothers and the rest of the team return to Oak Island and immediately uncover evidence of a tunnel in the Money Pit. Meanwhile, the Fellowship gets a closer look at an underground structure and a potential trip to the UK is on the cards. There's no doubt that they are getting closer to solving the mystery.

Alone: Frozen – Season 1, Episode 1

This brand-new season of the toughest reality show on television sees six Alone veterans return for another chance to win $500,000. They must put their survival skills to the test once more, this time along the brutal windswept coast of Labrador, Canada.

In order to claim the top prize, the participants must survive by themselves for 50 days in the middle of polar bear territory. Facing extreme conditions such as freezing temperatures, howling winds and torrential rain, they must contend with apex predators with no outside help at all.

What On Earth – Season 4, Episode 1

Hundreds of satellites orbit Earth and capture the world like it’s never seen before, revealing phenomena that defy explanation. What On Earth explores these unusual images as scientists attempt to explain the mysteries seen from space.

Episode one of season four takes viewers on an eye-opening journey as experts investigate the startling mysteries captured by Earth’s man-made satellites. The things they pick up range from hidden worlds to unexplainable natural phenomena.

Curse of Skinwalker Ranch – Season 3, Episode 1

For more than 200 years, Utah’s Skinwalker Ranch has been the site of hundreds of reports of paranormal and UFO activity. Despite decades of studies, some rumoured to have been secretly funded by the US government, no-one has dared to go below ground. Now the Curse of Skinwalker Ranch team of scientists is conducting the most thorough investigation to date.

In the first episode of season three, the team starts by hunting in the sky. They return to the famous ranch and find new evidence of a mysterious anomaly one mile above the Triangle Area that might be connected to something deep within the Mesa.

Forged in Fire – Season 9, Episode 1

Deadman’s Curse – Season 1, Episode 1

In Deadman’s Curse, former MMA fighter Kru Williams and young indigenous explorer Taylor Starr join legend hunter and mountaineer Adam Palmer to solve the mystery of Slumach’s lost goldmine. Hidden somewhere in the rugged terrain of the Pacific Northwest, its mysterious location has eluded prospectors for generations.

Episode one gets off to a promising start as Taylor unearths new testimony from a witness to Slumach’s execution and a deathbed letter sends Adam and Kru on a dangerous glacial trek. However, throughout the series, they must battle extreme weather and unforgiving terrain to get to the bottom of a 100-year-old curse.
