Porunn (Gaia Weiss)

Slave girl turned shield maiden, Porunn caught Bjorn’s eye when he returned to Kattegat as a young man. She is granted her freedom by Aslaug and makes the choice to model herself after Bjorn's mother, the famous shield maiden Lagertha. Porunn will not be tamed by any man and Bjorn must learn to accept this before Porunn can accept his love.
