Mafia: Behind the Bloodshed follows filmmaker Max Serio as he takes viewers inside the world's most powerful criminal organisations, from the 'Ndrangheta to the Yakuza and the Thieves-in-law to the Triads. Through the testimonies of former members and those who grew up in mafia families and managed to escape, the series reveals the real rules, codes and dynamics of these criminal systems from the inside. Far from cinematic myths, Mafia: Behind the Bloodshed uncovers the hidden reality behind the codes of silence, loyalty and power - with rare access to stories that are normally never told.
