Frontiersmen - The Odd Couple Explorers

In 1842, four decades after Lewis and Clark planted their flag, the US needed farmers to establish homesteads in the Oregon Territory - land located between British Canada to the north and Mexico's holdings to the south. But with little idea on how to safely get there, the US Army turned to John C. Frémont and mountain man Kit Carson to map the Oregon Trail pass over the Rocky Mountains.
