During the Olympic Games in Munich, September, 1972, the Palestinian terrorist group Black September attacked the Israeli team in their rooms in the Olympic Village, taking them hostage.

As the world reacted in shock, the picture of the hooded assassin became a symbol of modern terrorism and the vulnerability of free society. After a sixteen-hour standoff, eleven Israeli athletes and a German police officer were killed, while nine of the hostages were able to escape.

HISTORY tells the story of the athletes who barely survived and how these dramatic hours have changed their lives forever.
