No County For Old Men

In a highly original and amusing new series Simon Day and John Thomson, well known and loved comedians from 'The Fast Show', travel the counties of Britain for HISTORY.

Each episode focuses on a different county with John and Simon taking part in events and traditions that keep the unique history of British counties alive and vibrant today. From a Sussex Mod rally, to sheep-dog trials in Carmarthenshire, to a re-enactment of a War of the Roses battle in Herefordshire – they’ll experiencing for themselves how British people celebrate their ancient and more modern traditions and how county heritage remains an ever changing but defining part of British culture today.

As it’s Simon and John though, don’t expect high brow expounding of country dancing or interviews with stuffed shirts - instead do expect lots of funny, weird, witty and interesting stuff!
