Lives on the Edge

This autumn, HISTORY celebrates people who have astonishing tales to tell. Some encounter danger on a daily basis by undertaking perilous jobs in extreme conditions. 

Others have ventured into the deepest darkest parts of the world to help us understand it better. And some have risked their lives for their country.

But despite their differences, these people have one thing in common: they have lived their lives on the edge.
